The tuning fork densitometer is designed according to the vibration principle of components. This vibrating element is similar to a two-tooth tuning fork. The fork body vibrates due to a piezoelectric crystal located at the root of the tooth. The frequency of the vibration is detected by another piezoelectric crystal. Phase-shifting and amplifying circuits, the fork is stabilized at the natural resonant frequency. When the medium flows through the fork, the resonant frequency changes due to the change of the quality of the medium.

While measuring density and temperature, it can also calculate basic density, °API, Brix, concentration percentage, mass percentage, volume percentage, specific gravity and other parameters.
