Description of 4-20mA Micro Motion oil Fork Density Meter sensor

The vibrating fork density meter uses its resonant frequencies to measure the density of a solution. These resonant frequencies are obtained as the fork vibrates within the solution, and they change according to the density of the solution. By analyzing the relationship between the vibration of the fork and the density of the solution, the density can be accurately calculated.

 

When the fork is placed in a low-density solution, it vibrates at a higher frequency, while in a high-density solution, it vibrates at a lower frequency. This change in frequency is due to the resistance the fork encounters as it vibrates through the solution.
